Wildlife
The beck is flanked by tall reeds where water voles burrow in the banks and feed on waterside plants. New ponds have been created to provide a home for frogs, toads and newts.
As part of the Tees Wildlife Living Waterways project, there’s evidence of water voles returning to the beck!
