Housing the history of Middlesbrough, its industries and famous residents
The museum houses the largest public collections worldwide of locally made Linthorpe Art Pottery and designs by Dr Christopher Dresser.
The Dorman also offers a great range of permanent display galleries to captivate visitors of all ages, from space to Middlesbrough through time.
Admission
Museum entry is free. Charges may apply for additional activities like temporary exhibitions, VR experiences, or family activities.

For refreshments, check out the Victorian-style Dressers Tearoom, and for a perfect souvenir of your visit don’t miss the museum shop, which sells exclusive Dresser merchandise.

Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm. Last entry is 3.30pm.
