Food, drink and family fun at the Orange Pip Markets
Featuring the best in local and regional food as well as live music and entertainment, Orange Pip Market has become well-known as being the highlight of Middlesbrough’s social calendar.
What is Orange Pip?
Enjoy artisan food and drink from local makers and bakers, amazing cocktails and stop by at the stalls or micro pubs for a pint or two. Live music from the region’s up and coming acts and family friendly activities make it a day out to remember for the whole family.
Influenced by a range of world-class markets such as Borough, Maltby Street and Broadway in London, Brooklyn Flea and Smorgasburg in New York City as well as the amazing food producers at farmers markets throughout the region.

Where is Orange Pip?
Orange Pip is not just the about the food and drink stalls and the incredible atmosphere. It’s about visiting the independent micro bars and pubs, cafes and restaurants along Baker Street and Bedford Street, Grange Road, Linthorpe Road, Albert Road and Corporation Road – it’s about supporting Middlesbrough’s incredible local businesses not just for the Pip but all year round.
Every summer, the Pip moves slightly further up Albert Road to Centre Square for a more family-friendly burst of summer fun with giant outdoors games, deckchairs, more live music and sometimes there’s even karaoke.
